The number of functions Casio has put into their Pro Trek Smartwatches is pretty mindboggling, not to mention that as a Android Wear 2.0 device it can run a host of apps from the Play Store. We love the styling and new color bezel but worry about the "greater than one day" battery life, so maybe it's not ready for the Appalacian Trail just yet. On the other hand, if you're striking out from a base camp with power, you'lll be able to track everything from calories to isobars on the full color gps enabled map display. The $500 price tag stings a bit, but it's mil-spec toughness guarantees that it will last long enough for you to get your money's worth.
